Camp Bestival Dorset, the UK’s favourite family festival, will return to Lulworth Castle this July (28 – 31) with a new Desert Island Disco theme. Today we announce our highly anticipated day-by-day line-ups and limited Day Tickets, which go on sale at 10am on Wednesday 8th June.

We’re both so excited to be finally announcing what our joyous Camp Bestival family can experience from Friday to Sunday. In true Camp Bestival style, the festival is a mash-up of amazing music, comedy, entertainment, wellness and food for the entire family. We have some incredible headline acts across the three days - Rag ‘n’ Bone Man and Rudimental, as well as the holy disco trinity of Earth Wind & Fire Experience ft. Kicking Camp Bestival Dorset off on Friday 29th July is the deeply resonant headliner Rag’N’Bone Man, Indie rock band Razorlight and Faithless (DJ Set). The original reggae selector and all-round David Rodigan will also return to Camp Bestival and DJ sets will be delivered by Gok Wan and the unstoppable force, Jodie Harsh. The Cuban Brothers will make an appearance on Friday too, whilst Brit-nominated Gracey, Drum & Bass class-acts Junior Jungle, Lola Young and Jo Whiley’s 90s Anthems will warm up the crowds. Friday at Dorset will also host; Horrible Histories: Terrible Tudors, Mister Maker & Rebecca Keatley, MC Grammar, Iris Gold, Timberlina’s Drag Storytime and many more.
Saturday 30th July is when the disco taps get turned to the max with star-studded headliners Kool & The Gang and Earth Wind & Fire Experience ft. Al McKay. Renowned for her lockdown kitchen discos Sophie Ellis-Bextor will also don her sequins for a memorable Kitchen Disco set. Kings of the feel-good hits The Proclaimers, DJ-collective Horse Meat Disco, Snapped Ankles and legendary British singer Rhoda Dakar also join the epic Saturday line-up. In true Camp Bestival style, no family member goes unseen, with Mr Tumble, Brainiac Live: Remixed!, Cosmic Kids Yoga – Live with Jaime, Dick & Dom and more all reppin’ total unforgettable fun for the kids, and adults! Big Fish Little Fish, will also be bringing the rave on the Saturday.
To finish the holy disco trinity and on Sunday 31st July, Sister Sledge, take the Dorset stage for the first-time ever for a late afternoon set, amongst mega pop headliner Rudimental, who will deliver an energetic set for the whole family in the evening. Party banger legend Example, Shed Seven, Theo Kottis and Yolanda’s Jam Band all make an appearance on Sunday, whilst the flamboyantly fun extravaganza that is Charlotte Church’s Late Night Pop Dungeon and Mr Motivator, will make sure to tire the whole family out. Elsewhere on the Sunday funday line-up is comedian Ed Byrne, Cosmic Kids Yoga – Live with Jaime, Rascal Raves, Everyday Racism and many, many more.
It wouldn’t be Camp Bestival without a fabulous finale! Once again, Sunday night at Camp Bestival will go out with a bang... and a crash and quite possibly a few flashes as we present another epic grand finale set to the striking backdrop of Lulworth Castle by the amazing Two Tigers Fireworks!
2022 will mark a hugely successful 14-year history of entertaining families for Camp Bestival and as well as enjoying a world beating festival line-up, families can also get lost in four days worth of theatre, wellbeing workshops, circus spectacles, comedy and a mouth-watering array of exquisite food and drink – all located in the beautiful, spacious environment of Lulworth Castle.
