Katie Kirby is a Sunday Times bestselling author and illustrator of the blog and book series Hurrah for Gin. She has over 700,000 social media followers and has become well known for her simple stick figure cartoons depicting the joys and horrors of parenting.
In 2021 she released her first novel for tweens, The Extremely Embarrassing Life of Lottie Brooks with the third book in the series reaching number one in the Sunday Times chart. The fourth book, Lottie Brooks's Totally Disastrous School Trip will be released in July.
Katie lives by the sea in Hove with her husband, two sons and dog Sasha. She likes gin, rabbits, over-thinking things, the smell of launderettes and Monster Munch.
