This year's Fireworks Fiinale show takes a couple of huge leaps forward with two new team members. The stunning show combines moving pictures, explosives and sound (and a castle) in a unique combination with an extraordinary unique effect.
Our resident pyrotechnicians and animators are masters of their crafts and are old hands at the festival but this year the music goes into overdrive - DJ Yoda joins the team!
To describe Yoda as a DJ doesn't come close. He's been involved in so many varied musical projects it's not worth even starting the list here but he's as at home on Radio 4 as he is on Radios 1 & 6 - say no more you've all heard of him! This year Yoda takes us on a musical journey around the world as we explore the wondrous habitats of our amazing planet.
But what of the second new member? A shadowy figure, no one knows what they look like or where they live... Yes we've taken the show and stuffed it into an A.I.
The visuals this year will be enhanced by an artificial intelligence - we're not sure what's going to pop out but it'll be interesting!! Just hoping it doesn't take over!!!
