The Sun Kings are a dance inducing, latin-pop band who are a perfect festival act. Formed in lockdown they play witty self-penned material in retro latin and Caribbean styles such as Cumbia Samba and Ska. With joyous sax and three different lead vocalists of mixed age and gender their all-action stage show is a joy to behold. The band is a collective featuring well known Cardiff musicians from bands as diverse as Wonderbrass, Railroad Bill and Junior Bill. The Sun Kings have quickly built a large following in their first year of live performance in venues such The Bell Inn, Bath, The Canteen, Bristol, and Cardiff’s Clwb Ifor Bach.
