Sometimes know as cold water immersion, a bracing plunge for around 10 or 15 minutes is now also known to have a host of other benefits that promote your wellbeing. So, aside from muscle recovery, aiding the repair of physical microtrauma and preventing soreness, ice baths can help to boost your mental health, reduce stress, improve your sleep, and develop your immune system.
